| AMAZON RIVER CRUISES |
The Mightiest of Rivers The Amazon is the world's second-longest river. Only the Nile, in Africa, is longer. But if you measured rivers by their volume of waterthat flows through it, the Amazon is the world leader. On its own, the Amazon produces approximately 20% of all the water that the world's rivers pour into the oceans. It collects water from just over 40% of South America's landmass while extending from Iquitos in Peru all the way across Brazil to the Atlantic Ocean.
