"This journey covers the famous sights of South America," lodging at
the best properties in South America (Leading Properties of the World
and Orient-Express Peru). You will enjoy the high standards along your
way and travel in style. Private services and exclusive local
guides will provide just the right mix of adventure and pampering.
Your amazing journey will start in Santiago, the stylish capital of
Chile, set against the magnificent Andes Mountains, where you will have
enough time to adjust to the local time. Then you will travel north to
Lima and then onto Cuzco, the ancient Inca capital. Starting the
mysterious journey of the Incas, visiting Sacsayhuaman fortress, Pisac
and Ollantaytambo ruins and staying at the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Followed by a beautiful train ride taking you to the mysterious and
magical Machu Picchu citadel "The Lost City of the Incas". Returning
the next day to Cuzco for an overnight before continuing by another
great train journey across the altiplano to Puno and Lake Titicaca the
"womb of Mankind ". Visit the Uros and Taquile Island where the
islanders keep Quechua, the language of the Incas, alive.
Finishing your magical journey in Peru with a visit of Arequipa and
Colca Canyon. Then you will travel south on to exciting Buenos Aires
- "The Paris of South America" where you will have the chance
to
see the real Tango and the typical Gauchos before experiencing the
largest waterfalls in the world "Iguazu Falls". Finishing
your
journey in Rio de Janeiro with a visit the famous Christ the Redeemer
statue & Sugar Loaf Mountain.
