Just as the name implies, the tour covers the 'highlights' of the continentÕs most famous sights. Four weeks of touring includes the city of Santiago; renkowned as a world leading wine producing capital and set against the backdrop of the Andes mountains; the colonial city of Lima and the Inca region of Cuzco and the famous sites of Pisac, Ollantaytambo and the famous Machu Picchu. Ride a magnificent bus journey across the Peruvian altiplano to Puno and Lake Titicaca. Visit the floating reed islands of Uros and cruise by catamaran to La Paz. Explore the Bolivian capital with the mystic volcanic rock formations in Moon Valley and the witch doctorÕs market before heading to Rio de Janeiro.

Visit the famous Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf mountain before experiencing the largest waterfalls in the world, 'Iguazu Falls'. Continue to Buenos Aires, 'the Paris of South America' to experience the magic of the tango and the 'Gauchos' cowboy lifestyle. Further south you will arrive at Bariloche, Ôwhere the Andes meets Patagonia,Õ visit the scenic lake district and cross the mountain range to the picturesque city of Puerto Varas.

Day 3: SANTIAGO - LIMA (B)
Transfer to airport for your flight to Lima. Transfer to hotel.

Day 4: LIMA (B, D)
Half day city tour of Lima. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 5: LIMA – CUZCO (B)
Transfer to airport, flight to Cuzco. Transfer to hotel.

Day 6: CUZCO (B, D)
Half day city tour of Cuzco. Evening dinner and show.

Day 7: CUZCO – SACRED VALLEY (B, L)
Full day tour to Sacred Valley including Pisac Market & Ollantaytambo.

Day 8: CUZCO – MACHU PICCHU (B, L)
Train to Machu Picchu, ruins tour and overnight.

Day 9: MACHU PICCHU – CUZCO  (B)
Morning free to visit ruins. Afternoon train back to Cuzco.

Day 10: CUZCO – PUNO (B, L)
Spectacular bus journey across the Altiplano to Puno on Lake Titicaca shores.

Bus, catamaran journey across Lake Titicaca via Sun Island to La Paz.

Tour to Argentine side of the falls.

Lake Crossing. Andes lakes crossing by bus/boat to Peulla navigating Nahuel Huapi.

Day 27: PEULLA – PUERTO VARAS (B)
Continue lakes crossing by bus to Puerto Varas on the shores of Llanquihue Lake.

Day 28: PUERTO VARAS (B)
Half day city tour of Puerto Varas and Puerto Montt.

Day 29: PUERTO VARAS (B)
Full day tour of Chiloe Island.

Day 30: PUERTO VARAS – SANTIAGO – SYDNEY (B)
Transfer to airport for your flight to Sydney via Santiago.
