     The journey begins in Mexico, the birthplace of the Mayans and the Aztecs, advanced civilizations that while Europe was still in the dark ages, had invented the calendar, mapped the heavens, and were masters at mathematics.  Dance a salsa in Old Havana, retrace the journey of the Revolution inspired by Che Guevara and Fidel Castro, or immerse yourself in culture and music. Cuba is an inexplicable and exciting destination.  Travel to Lima and then to Cuzco.
In Cuzco, the ancient Inca capital, you will start the mysterious journey of the Incas, visiting Sacsayhuaman fortress, Pisac and Ollantaytambo ruins and staying at the Sacred Valley of the Incas. A beautiful train ride will take you to the mysterious and magical Machu Picchu citadel, returning the next day to Cuzco.
Travel to Rio de Janeiro where you will experience the Cariocas way of living.  Visit the famous Christ the Redeemer statue & Sugar Loaf Mountain and feel the rhythms of the samba.

Transfer to hotel

Day 2:    MEXICO CITY (B)
Half day city tour of Mexico City including the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Museum of Anthropology.

Day 3:    MEXICO CITY (B)
Full day tour visiting the Shrine of Guadalupe and archaeological site of Teotihuacan.

Day 4:    MEXICO CITY (B)
Full day tour to Cuernavaca, the city of Eternal Springs and Taxco, the Silver City.

Day 5:    MEXICO CITY - HAVANA (B)
Transfer to airport, flight to Havana. Transfer to hotel.

Day 6:    HAVANA (B)
City tour of Havana, where culture and tradition is imminent.

Day 7:    HAVANA (B)
Full day tour to Viñales, where Cuba’s Tobacco and Coffee plantations are clustered.

Day 8:    HAVANA (B)
Free day to explore the city, enjoy a “mojito”, or dance to the salsa.

Day 9:    HAVANA - LIMA (B)
Transfer to airport, flight to Lima. Transfer to hotel.

Day 10:    LIMA (B)
Half-day city tour of Lima including such sights as the Plaza Mayor, founded in 1535, viewing the wonderful Torre Tagle Palace, Osambela House, finishing with a visit to the Gold Museum.

Day 11:    LIMA - CUZCO (B)
Transfer to airport, flight to Cuzco. Transfer to hotel.

Day 12:    CUZCO – SACRED VALLEY (B, L)
Full day tour of colourful Pisac and Ollantaytambo markets and ruins.

Day 13:    CUZCO (B)
City tour of Cuzco, Tambo Machay, Kenko and Sacsayhuaman ruins

Day 14:    CUZCO – MACHU PICCHU (B)
Train to Aguas Calientes and then bus to Machu Picchu, the fabled city of the Incas. Your guide will guide you through the ruins and then you are free to wander. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 15:    MACHU PICCHU - CUZCO (B)
Morning free to visit ruins. Afternoon train to Cuzco. Transfer to hotel.

Day 16:    CUZCO - PUNO (B L)
Spectacular bus journey across the altiplano to Puno on Lake Titicaca shores. Transfer to hotel.

Day 17:    PUNO - UROS & TAQUILE ISLAND – PUNO (B)
Full day tour of the floating islands of Uros.

Day 18:    PUNO –LIMA – RIO DE JANEIRO (B)
Transfer to hotel, flight to Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to hotel.

Day 19:    RIO DE JANEIRO (B)
Half day tour of Corcovado & Christ the Redeemer.

Day 20:    RIO DE JANEIRO (B)
Half-day tour of Sugar Loaf Mountain.

Day 21:    RIO DE JANEIRO (B D)
Day at leisure. In the evening you will be taken to a local churrasqueria to view a folkloric and samba show including dinner.

Transfer to airport, flight back to Australia. Transit in Los Angeles.
