"Costa Rica Highlights" is the package that covers from the Caribbean
Sea to the Pacific Coast. No rush! Enjoy each selected attraction or
destination with enough time to get the best out of each one. Enjoy the
Tortuguero Canals, Monteverde Cloud Forest, Arenal Volcano and select
one of the ten beach extension available that include two nights at the
most remarkable properties of Costa Rica on the Pacific side. From the
five star of Melia Conchal to the Small Distinctive Hotels Group.

end of the extension the program also includes one last night in San
Jose.
The different beach extensions include hotels in beautiful Guanacaste,

Minimum 2 Persons.
Day 1
Arrival to Juan Santamaria International
Airport. A Swiss Travel Service representative will meet and greet you
upon arrival and will transfer you to Residencias de Golf Hotel. Check
in and overnight there.
Day 2
(B,L,D) This day you will be picked up at
Residencias de Golf Hotel and depart for Freeman dock to start your
journey to Tortuguero National Park. A two and half hour boat ride will
take you through the canals sheltered in the jungle of the rain forest.
From your boat you will be able to admire the unique flora and fauna of
this area. Check in and overnight in Laguna Lodge.
Day 3
(B,L,D) Morning tour to Tortuguero Cannals .
Then, explore the little village of Tortuguero or enjoy a walk on the
beach. During the months of May through September you can take the
optional turtle watching tour during the evening to admire one of the
most impressive miracles of life. Overnight in Laguna Lodge.
Day 4
(B,L) After breakfast you will be transferred
by boat to Freeman Dock in order to take our transportation to Arenal.
After lunch, you will be transferred to Arenal Volcano area. Check in
and overnight in Montaña de Fuego Hotel.
Day 5
Day at leisure to make optional activities such
us: Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs Tour, Horseback Riding to La Fortuna
Waterfall, Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge, etc:. Overnight in
Montaña de Fuego Hotel.
Day 6
Check out and unescorted transfer to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Check-in and overnight in Fonda Vela Hotel.
Day 7
Day at leisure to take optional tours such us:
horseback riding, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, Santa Elena Cloud
Forest, Sky Walk, Sky Trek, Aerial Adventure, etc. Overnight in
Fondavela Hotel.
Day 8
Continue on to any of the extensions available
for a few days at the beach hotel of your selection or return to San
Jose for an overnight extension. to take your flight back home

TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK

All the options operate daily and with a minimum of 2 passengers. Additional nights are available.
Tortuguero consists of a network of waterways, allowing visitors to
view a rich, biologically diverse region. It is the most important
nesting site of the green turtle as well as leatherback and hawksbill
turtle.

Day 1
(B,L,D) The transportation and the guide of the
lodge selected, will pick you up at the hotel in San Jose and departs
to Tortuguero dock to start your journey to Tortuguero National Park. A

You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight.

(B,L,D) After enjoying a delicious buffet
breakfast, our transportation will pick you up at Occidental
Torremolinos hotel and transfer to Bosque de Paz located between Poas
Volcano and Juan Castro National Park, just a two hours drive North of
San Jose where our walking tour.
Day 3
(B) Morning at leisure to enjoy the wonderful
view, walking in the Cloud Forest, etc. In the afternoon, depart to
Arenal. Check-in and overnight at Arenal Paraiso Hotel with a perfect
view of the volcano.
Day 4
(L) This day you will depart to Caño
Negro Wildlife Refuge located in Los Chiles. Return to Arenal Paraiso
Hotel and overnight there.
Day 5
Check out and departure to Tamarindo Beach. Check in and overnight at Jardin del Eden Hotel.
Day 6
(B) Day at leisure to enjoy the beach or make
optional tours such us: Palo Verde National Park, Extravaganza, Los

Day 1 - Arrive San Jose.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 - San Jose City Tour
This tour will introduce you to discover the
most important sights of our capital city. Driving through Paseo Colon,
we will visit the heart of the city to admire the pride of the TICOS,
the National Theater. This old architectural jewel was designed as the
opera house at the beginning of the 19th century. Visit the National
Museum, a faithful witness of Costa Rica history, then enjoy of a
sightseeing of the Central Park, the Cathedral, the Congress Building
and the Justice Court. Driving La Sabana Metropolitan Park, a short
visit will follow through Rohmoser residential area.

Day 3 - The Rain Forest Aerial Tram
Located in Guapiles. No other tour gives you a
more intimate view of the rain forest than a ride on the Aerial Tram.
This open vehicle takes you through the canopy, skimming over hilltops,
into the depths of Costa Rican jungle. The ride stops several times
along the way for close-up view of birds and nesting sites. After 45
minutes you arrive at the end station and disembark for a walk along
the forest floor.
