The
North
If you are
looking for ecological adventures, the north of Brazil offers the
amazon region which is the world’s largest biological
reserve, and one-third of the planet’s living species. There
are jungle lodges which accommodate tourists, offering comfort and
security.
The Northeast
The northeast
offers a continuous summer climate and the continent’s most
beautiful beaches. They range from the Canoa Quebrada Beach, in Ceara,
through to Genipabu and its sand dunes, in Rio Grande do Norte.
The Midwest
Here you will
find a contrast with the newborna and the timeless. Brasilia, the
nation’s Capital, with its bold architectural style, and on
the other hand, the Pantanal of Mato Grosso, a virtual ecological
sanctuary, where tourists may see alligators, birdlife, deer, snakes
and other wildlife.
The Southeast

holds Brazil’s urban face, where Rio de Janeiro, holds the
luxuriant greenery contrasting with thousands of modern buidings. The
city brings together one of the country’s busiest night and
cultural lives, and the world’s best know carnival. The state
also has stunning beaches in Angra dos Reis, Buzios and Cabo Frio.

Italians and Polish settlers. The south also offers the stunning Iguazu
Falls, one of the world’s largest waterfalls.

TAXIS
Taxis are plentiful in Brazil. Regular metered taxis may be hailed on
the street
RENTAL CARS
Chauffer driven or self driven rental cars are available at all major
airports and in most larger cities.
OTHER
Buses are the most popular means of transportation and mostly used for
urban and interurban trips. Rio de Janerio and Sao Paolo have rapid,
comfortable and efficient subways systems.
