Day 1 Australia – Santiago – Rio de Janeiro Fly to Rio de Janeiro. On arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Rio de Janeiro (B) Tour and cable car trip to one of the city’s famous landmarks, Sugar Loaf mountain, the famous granite and quartz peaks overlooking Guanabara Bay for a fantastic view.
Day 3 Rio de Janeiro (B D) Half day trip to the top of Corcovado mountain, catching the small train through the Tijuca forest before reaching the top to see the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. In the evening head to a local churrasqueria for a sumptuous Brazilian BBQ dinner and lively samba show.
Day 4 Rio de Janeiro – Iguazu Falls (B) Transfer to airport for flight to Iguazu Falls. Tour to the panoramic Brazilian side of the falls.
Day 5 Iguazu Falls – Lima (B) Tour of the many trails on the Argentinean side of the falls, including the devils throat. Afternoon boat ride to Devil's Throat Canyon approaching to the water falls to finish the adventure at San Martin Island. Evening transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima.
On arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 6 Lima – Cuzco (B) Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cuzco.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 7 Cuzco – Sacred Valley (B L) Full day tour of the scenic Sacred Valley of the Incas including a visit to the colourful Pisac market and ruins of Ollantaytambo.
Day 8 Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu (B L) Start your 2 day journey to the unforgettable ruins of Machu Picchu, by boarding the vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. Catch a bus up the mountain where you will be guided through this beautiful, forgotten citadel, home of an incredibly advanced civilisation.
Day 9 Machu Picchu – Cuzco (B) Morning free. Afternoon train to Cuzco.
Day 10 Cuzco (B) Guided half day tour of the ancient Inca capital of Cuzco, exploring temples, ruin and museums showcasing this wondrous civilization.
Day 11 Cuzco – Lima (B) Morning at leisure. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Australia via Santiago.
