This package visits Ica, the Ballestas Islands, the mystical city of Nazca, Arequipa "the White City", and the Colca Canyon, home of the majestic condor. The tour also takes you to Cuzco - a showcase of several different cultures: Pre Inca, Inca, Colonial and Republican. The oldest inhabited city in the Americas, Cuzco is the gateway to Machu Picchu, "Legendary Lost City of the Incas".

Daily departures.

Day 1: LIMA

On arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day 2: LIMA (B)

Half day city tour.

Day 3: LIMA - ICA - NAZCA (B)

Bus to Ica, short city tour before arriving at Nazca, site of the famous ground markings of giant animals and geometric figures. (Flight optional).

Day 4: BALLESTAS ISLANDS - AREQUIPA (B)

Visit to Ballestas Islands to see the thousands of birds, sea lions and fur seals. Overninght transfer to Arequipa.

Day 5: AREQUIPA (B)

Free day.

Day 6: AREQUIPA (B)

Half day city tour.

Day 7: AREQUIPA - COLCA CANYON (B, L)

Travel to Colca Canyon, stay overnight.

Day 8: COLCA CANYON - AREQUIPA (B)

Return to Arequipa.

Day 9: AREQUIPA - CUZCO (B)

Transfer to airport for flight to Cuzco.

Day 10: CUZCO (B)

City tour and visit to nearby ruins.

Day 11: CUZCO - SACRED VALLEY (B, L)

Day tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Day 12: SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU (B L)

Train to Machu Picchu - tour of ruins.

Day 13: MACHU PICCHU - CUZCO (B)

Return to Cuzco on afternoon train.

Day 14: CUZCO - PUNO (B, L)

Scenic bus journey to Puno with visits to archaeological sites.

Day 15: PUNO (B)

Half day tour to the floating islands of Uros

Day 16:

Transfer to Juliaca airport.
