Day 1: TUXTLA GUITIERREZ - SAN CRISTOBAL
Pick up from Tuxtla Gutierrez airport and drive to Rio Grijalva shore for boat tour through the Sumidero Canyon. Head towards San Cristobal de las Casas, stopping for a visit to the historic city of Chiapa del Corzo on the way. Stay overnight.
Day 2: SAN CRISTOBAL (B)
Visit the native communities of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan. Walking tour of the colonial town centre and the famed Indian handicraft market. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 3: SAN CRISTOBAL - PALENQUE (B)
Drive through lush rainforest scenery and visit the waterfalls of Agua Azul. Continue towards the village of Palenque. Stay overnight.
Day 4: PALENQUE - VILLAHERMOSA (B)
In the morning you will head to the Mayan archaeological site of Palenque for a guided tour of the ruins. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Villahermosa airport.
