Designed for travellers who prefer a land experience rather than cruising the Galápagos Islands, this tour encompasses all the beauty that Galápagos Island offers, based at Isabela Island.

Day 1 ARRIVE IN BALTRA – ISABELA ISLAND (L) Arriving to Baltra Airport, our guide will receive and transfer you to Puerto Ayora. Lunch in a local restaurant at town. Speedboat to Isabela Island Transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon we will have time to walk to the Flamingo Lagoon on our own if we like to.

Day 2 ISABELA ISLAND (B L) Visit to “Sierra Negra” volcano, whose crater is approximately 7 kilometers in diameter. A four hour trek to enjoy the wonderful scenery. Lunch at a local farm called Campo Duro where we can also watch Isabela Giant Tortoises. En route to Puerto Villamil town, we will visit Tintoreras Islets, where colonies of white tip sharks and marine iguanas can often be seen resting in a lava canal. Afternoon free to snorkel and play with baby seals.

Day 3 ISABELA ISLAND (B L) Sail to Cape Rosa on the western side of the island. Walk over connected lava tunnels over the sea. Observe many animals including sea turtles, penguins and sting rays. Afternoon visit to the Wall of Tears, a historical place built by prisoners from Ecuador’s first jail. Return to hotel via Orchilla lookout.

Day 4 ISABELA ISLAND – BALTRA (B) Early departure to take the speed boat back to Puerto Ayora. We will immediately take a bus across Santa Cruz Island to the Baltra Airport where we will check in for our flights to the Continent.
