Explore through the best of geographically diverse Ecuador, from the colonial and historic city of Quito, the beautifully unspoilt Amazon jungle regions and the iconic Andean landscapes in 8 action packed days.

Day 1: QUITO Transfer airport – hotel overnight.

Day 2: QUITO – OTAVALO (B) Be amazed by the local artisans as you visit two markets reknowned for the quality of their craftsmanship; Otavalo, famous for textiles and Cotacachi for ileather goods.

Day 3: QUITO - MIDDLE OF THE WORLD (B) Embrace the history and culture of Quito with visits to the Palace of Government, the historical Centre and its beautiful churches. Visit the middle of the world museum and monument as well as the cablecar that offers fantastic views of the Ecuadorian capital.

Day 4: QUITO – AMAZONIA (B,L,D) Head to the pristine Ecuadorian Amazon regions on the Napo Rover where you will board a canoe to arrive at your lodge. Here you will stay for the following nights where you can explore the surrounding forest and hopefully encounter several species of medicinal plants, insects, animals and bird life.

Day 5: AMAZONIA (B,L,D) Continue exploring the jungle by foot and canoe, trek through the forest, visit an animal rescue centre and visit a local Quechua family and learn about their customs.

Day 6: AMAZONIA - RIOBAMBA (B,L) Head out towards the town of Puyo where you can observe beautiful orchids and exotic birds. Continue to Baňos where you will have lunch and ride the cablecar for some amazing views of the waterfalls and finish your day with a tour of Riobamba. Stay overnight.

Day 7: RIOBAMBA - ALAUSI – QUITO (B) Travel southwards to Alausí, where you will board either the autoferro or train to travel the Devil’s Nose Train and return through the scenic Avenue of the Volcanoes back to Quito.

Day 8: QUITO (B) Transfer to airport.
