This program includes the most interesting and popular highlights of Costa Rica for a faboulous first experience of this country.

Day 1: SAN JOSE

Arrival in San Jose, transfer to hotel.

Day 2: SAN JOSE - TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK (B L D)

Morning departure to the Tortuguero area, passing by Braulio Carrillo National Park, a flora and fauna sanctuary covered by an emerald-green mass of vegetation. Board boats for the two hour journey to your lodge. Free afternoon to visit the Tortuguero village.

Day 3: TORTUGUERO AREA (B L D)

Today you will explore the secondary canals of this paradisiacal place and get closer to nature. From July through September you can take the optional turtle-watching tour during the evening.

Day 4: TORTUGUERO – ARENAL VOLCANO (B L)

Transfer to the Caño Blanco dock and onto the Arenal Volvano area. Check in and overnight at selected hotel.

Day 5: ARENAL VOLCANO AREA (B D)

Enjoy optional activities such as canopy, horseback riding, exploring the Venado Caves, floating, canyoning and much more. In the afternoon, you can walk through lava trails of the volcano or take a dip in the Hot Springs.

Day 6: ARENAL VOLCANO – MONTEVERDE (B)

Breakfast at the Hotel. In the morning, transfer to the Monteverde area and overnight at Fonda Vela hote.

Day 7: MONTEVERDE AREA (B)

Take an exciting tour to the Sky Walk, a network of suspension bridges, platforms and trails built in the cloud forest. Afternoon will be at leisure for optional activities such as a visit to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, Santa Elena Cloud Forest, Sky Trek-canopy Tour, horseback riding, visit to the Butterfly garden and many others. Overnight at Fonda Vela Hotel.

Day 8: MONTEVERDE - SAN JOSE (B)

Transfer to San Jose.
