The Classic route travels northwards to San Rafael from Puerto Montt, sailing through unforgettable channels and fjords, past archipelagos and pristine landscapes of glaciers and Alerces forests.

Departs Saturdays.

Day 1

Depart from Puerto Montt towards the archipelago of Llanquihue past Calbuco, Ancud and Chiloe.

Day 2

Sail through the Moraleda and Ferronave Canals before arriving at Puerto Aguirre for a visit of this fishing town. Continue sailing through canals towards San Rafael.

Day 3

Navigate the San Rafael inlet before reaching the lagoon that is home to the famed ice formation.

Day 4

Begin your return sailing southwards until reaching Quiltralco. Excursion to the thermal baths and possible excursions within the Fjord. Continue to Chiloe.

Day 5

Sail through the Leucayec Canal, the Chonos archipelago and through the Corcovado Gulf. Arrive in the city of Castro in the evening.

Day 6

Visit the local handicrafts market, church and museum of Castro. Afternoon return to the Skorpios for sailing back to Puerto Montt.

Day 7

Arrive and disembark at Tenglo dock in Puerto Montt.
