At Estancia El Ombu de Areco, guests can enjoy the Gaucho lifestyle to the full and participate in cattle driving, milking, de-horning and cattle marking or just relax and explore the 750 acre ranch by horseback, horse-drawn carriage, bike or on foot. An original 19th century ranch, El Ombu has just nine spacious rooms, with verandas, leading out onto extensive gardens.
At Villa Maria, a three floor Norman Tudor mansion, built by renowned architect Alejandro Bustillo in Maximo Paz, as many as 30 people can stay comfortably with a view of a privileged landscape 45 hectare park. It's large living room, dining room, the lounge and billiard room are all tastefully furnished. The estancia is located in Maximo Paz, 35 miles from downtown Buenos Aires. Activities include walks, horseback riding, bicycling, swimming, tennis and croquet.
