

Delve deeper into the local cultures of South America and live the lifestyle of the Cariocas (locals of Rio de Janeiro), experience life on an estancia with the Gauchos (Argentine cowboys), the ways of the mighty Incas and even the local tribes as part of an Amazon adventure.

Day 1: RIO DE JANEIRO Transfer to hotel.
Day 2: RIO DE JANEIRO (B, L) Full day trip to the top of Corcovado mountain, to see the Christ the Redeemer statue, overlooking Rio de Janeiro in all its splendour. Afternoon tour and cable car trip to Sugar Loaf mountain.
Day 3: RIO DE JANEIRO (B D) Day at leisure. In the evening, head to a local churrasqueria for a sumptuous Brazilian BBQ Dinner and lively samba show.
Day 4: RIO DE JANEIRO - IGUAZU FALLS (B) Transfer to airport and flight to Iguazu Falls. Tour to the panoramic Brazilian side of the falls. Transfer to hotel.
Day 5: IGUAZU FALLS (B) Tour of the many trails on the Argentine side of the falls, including the impressive Devil's Throat.
Day 6: IGUAZU FALLS - BUENOS AIRES (B) Transfer to airport and flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival transfer to hotel.
Day 7: BUENOS AIRES (B, D) Half-day orientation of the stylish capital, Buenos Aires. Experience the tango in all its glory and sample the succulent local beef with a dinner and show.
Day 8: BUENOS AIRES (B, L) Full day tour to experience life on an estancia, to a Gaucho (Argentine cowboy) farm.
Day 9: BUENOS AIRES - BARILOCHE (B) Transfer to airport and flight to beautiful lakeside city of Bariloche, "where the Andes meets Patagonia." Transfer to hotel.
Day 10: BARILOCHE (B) Half day city tour visiting Cerro Cathedral, Llao Llao, Laguna Trebol & the Centro Civico.
Day 11: BARILOCHE - PEULLA (Lake crossing) (B, D) Andes lakes crossing by bus/boat to Peulla navigating Nahuel Huapi.
Day 12: PEULLA - PUERTO MONTT (B) Continue Lakes crossing by boat/bus to Puerto Varas on the shores of Llanquihue Lake and transfer by bus to Puerto Montt.
Day 13: PUERTO MONTT- SANTIAGO - LIMA (B) Transfer to airport and flight to Lima via Santiago. On arrival transfer to hotel.
Day 14: LIMA - AMAZON JUNGLE (B, L, D) Transfer to airport and flight to Puerto Maldonado. Transfer by boat along the river to Tambopata Jungle lodge, adjacent to the natural reserve in the Amazon basin.
Day 15: AMAZON JUNGLE (B, L, D) Full day of activities, canoeing, bird watching, jungle trekking, piranha fishing and alligator spotting.
Day 16: AMAZON JUNGLE- CUZCO (B) A dawn start is required for the canoe trip back to Puerto Maldonado giving memorable views of the sunrise over the river and transfer to airport and flight to Cuzco.
Day 17: CUZCO (B) Half-day city tour of some of the sites in and around Cuzco including the cathedral, Q'oricancha (the temple of the sun) and the fortress of Sacsahuaman.
Day 18: CUZCO - SACRED VALLEY (B, L) Full day tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas including a stop at the colourful Pisac Market & ruins of Ollantaytambo. Overnight.
Day 19: SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU (B, L) Start your 2 day journey to the unforgettable ruins of Machu Picchu, by boarding a tourist train to Aguas Calientes. Catch a bus to the mountain where you will be guided through this beautiful forgotten citadel, home of an incredibly advanced civilisation.
Day 20: MACHU PICCHU-CUZCO (B) Morning free to visit ruins. Afternoon train to Cuzco.
Day 21: CUZCO-PUNO (B, L) Spectacular Andean Explorer train journey across the Altiplano Puno to the shores of Lake Titicaca.
Day 22: UROS ISLANDS (B) Tour of the reed islands of Lake Titicaca.
Day 23: PUNO - LA PAZ (B) Cross from Peru into Bolivia, via the lovely lakeside village of Copacabana, with its remarkable church before boarding a comfortable catamaran to begin the scenic crossing of the magical Lake Titicaca. Stop at the mysterious Sun Island before continuing onto La Paz.
Day 24: LA PAZ (B) Half day city tour of the Bolivian capital's sights, a typical Indian market and a visito to Moon Valley.
Day 25: LA PAZ - SANTIAGO (B) Transfer to airport, flight to Santiago.
Day 26: SANTIAGO (B) Half day tour of Santiago's cultural and historical monuments, artistic districts and panoramic sights.
DAY 27: SANTIAGO (B) Transfer to airport for your return flight home.
